A little terminology list

  1. Course – A collection of online lessons, topics, evaluation quiz and final quiz hosted by empwr2u.
  2. Class – A self-hosting workshop (in-person or online) organized by an instructor.
  3. Class Group – An online group that was created by your instructor for his/her class. All your classmates uses the same Group Code to join this group.
  4. Group Code – A pass-code that allows you to join the class group. Get it from your instructor.
  5. Group Course – The Course for your Group.
  6. Group Code Classes – All your Class Groups.
  7. Evaluation Quiz – The Online form that you provide feedback about the class/course
  8. Final Quiz – The Online exam that you need to pass (>80%) in order to get your certificate.

As a Visitor

As a Student

  • Keep track of your learning pathway progress
  • A prerequisite to upgrade to Instructor

As an Instructor

  • All a student can do, PLUS:
  • Start a course in "Self-hosting" mode

As an Empwr2u Instructor

  • All an Instructor can do, PLUS:
  • Start a course hosted by Empwr2u with "Zero-start-up-cost"
  • Host webinars on Empwr2u
